Hello World 101

Amèl Amri is born in Tienen, Belgium (1997) and is half Tunisian. She’s an animation student at LUCA-School Of Arts – Brussels (started in 2015/2016 – Bachelor 2017/2018 - Master 2019/2020). Besides that she’s a huge sports lover. Before art school she spent six years in dance school. She’s an accomplished Cheerleader with several national and European titles. Now she coaches the next generation.

Over the years her interest for popular culture and commercials has grown. She’s doing research on how popular culture has changed our way of life and how it can affect us in either a good or bad way. For her master thesis she would love to do research on perception of time and nostalgia.

In her latest work she criticizes modern society and their romanticized view on the past.
